As a rostered employee you are able to indicate days on which you are not available for duty, with the following constraints:
- This only applies to non-rostered days.
- Can indicate unavailable for overtime, shift changes, or both.
- Can automatically be published or require Manager approval, depending on your company's business processes.
- May not appear as a option if it has been disabled in your system configuration, i.e. not part of your company's business processes.
In the Work Roster ...
- Click on the "Unavailable for Duty" button.
- The Create Roster Request window for "Unavailable for Duty" will show.
- Select the dates that you wish to indicate as unavailable for duty. If you had clicked a cell in the roster then the dates will be pre-filled with that date.
- Add details in the Worker Comment field (optional).
- Select the type of duty for which you are unavailable.
- Shift Change includes such activities as "Change Rostered Shift", "Training", "Swaps", "Assign Relief", "Job Allocations"
- Depending on your system configuration the request may be automatically approved or go to your Manager for approval.
