ROSTERkey allows documents to be uploaded and associated with specific Workers as Attachments. This is an optional FREE feature. If you wish this to be enabled please contact your ROSTERkey support representative.
An Attachment must be categorised. The process to manage Categories is available to Administrators and is described here.
Uploading Attachments
Attachments can be uploaded from the Roster Administration screen.
When a roster change is selected, either by clicking at 1 or 2, the change details are shown in the "Edit Roster Change" window to the right. At the top right of this window is an "Attach File" button that, when clicked, will show the file upload form.
Here you can
- use the "Browse" button to select a file from your local computer or network
- Only, images (bitmap, jpeg, or png format), PDF files, ".csv" files, or plain text files can be uploaded.
- select an Attachment Category
- enter a title for the document
Once the information is complete, click the "Upload Now" button.
When the upload is done you will see the success notification.
Viewing and Downloading Attachments
A list of Attachments can be viewed from the Roster Administration page or the Operator Details page.
On the Roster Administration page click the "Worker Attachment Report" item in the right-click menu. This will show all Attachments uploaded for the period currently in view on the page.
On the Operator Details page, when a Worker is selected, click the "Worker Attachment Report" item in the "Worker Attachments" button at the right of the toolbar. This will show all Attachments for that Worker only, for the period set on the page.

You can change the view period if desired. A maximum of one year can be viewed at one time. Also, you can
- download an individual Attachment by clicking the button in the desired row at 1
- download the list of Attachments by clicking the Download button at 2.
