The "Min Days Off" Alert allows you to configure rules that can check how many days off during a specified period have been taken. If the count is exceeded an Alert is raised.
The usual Alert fields are included:
- Name: the name of this Alert configuration
- From: (date from which the rule is active)
- To (date to which the rule is active)
- Message: the textual message displayed when this rule is broken.
- Severity: Alert Severity and Suppression
- Suppressible: (as for Severity)
Additional fields:
- Window Day Count: the length, in days, of the window to count the Criteria Days.
- Window Type:
- Moving: this will progress day-by-day and check the "Window Day Count" period.
- Cycle: start from the "From" date of the rule and progress by "Window Day Count" chunks (not day-by-day).
- Criteria Days:
- specify one or more days to count, e.g. if you wish to have 2 Saturdays off and 2 Sundays off and it is not important if they are consecutive, i.e. not weekends, select the data as follows:
- If you are not concerned which specific days should be off, select Any.
- First Day Off Duration: specify the length, in hours, of the first day off that is counted. E.g. you can specify 36 in certain circumstances to ensure a full day off is taken after a night shift.
