Administrators are able to create Operational Readiness Conditions (ORCs) and assign them to Shift Definitions.  Managers are able to view these configuration components.

Operational Readiness Conditions:

To set up ORCs, use the "Configuration -> System -> Operational Readiness Condition" page.

Normal configuration processes then apply.

Each ORC needs a Name, Code, Display Order, and Self Assess Duration.  Additionally, they can be made active/inactive for specific periods and must have at least one active period.

The "Self Assess Duration" value affects whether a Worker themselves can set the value for this ORC from the mobile app.  If the value is 0 then they are unable to set the value.  For a positive value, they are able to set the value from the mobile app up to the specified number of hours prior to the commencement of the Shift and up to the end of the Shift.

In multi-Department mode, they can also be set for use by all or only specific Departments.

Assign Operational Readiness Conditions to a Shift Definition:

Through the "Configuration -> Roster -> Shift Definition" page, ORCs can be assigned to various Shift Definitions.

Each of those assigned to a Shift Definition need to have a default "Readiness" value applied, either "Ready" or "Not Ready".  This default value will be what is initially allocated to a Worker when they are assigned to a Shift of this type.  The initial value assigned to the Worker can then be changed for any Worker on any date on which they are assigned to a Shift of that type.
