There are several events within ROSTERkey that can cause the system to send notifications to Workers. Regardless of the configuration described below, Shift Offers and published Shift Changes will always go to the mobile app.
To enable email or SMS notifications firstly make sure that a Worker has a valid email address and/or mobile phone number (in correct international format). This is set up in the "Configuration -> System -> User" page:
Then, in the "Configuration -> System -> Worker Settings" page, select the combination of Email and/or SMS notification desired.
The "Webcal Welcome" relates to How To: Link My Roster To My Calendar. "Roster Change" relates to published roster changes. These notifications are not immediate upon publishing a roster change. They may take up to 20 minutes before they are sent. The "Manager Message" relates to sending a message from the right-click menu on the Roster Administration page:

Note that Workers themselves are able to change these settings from their "My Settings" page. Permitting Workers to change these setting is enabled within ROSTERkey by default. However, there is an internal setting that can disable this and only allow the settings to be changed by Administrators. This is a free configuration option. If you wish it to be disabled, please contact your ROSTERkey support representative.
